For over 15 years, Gila River Arena has been a sports and entertainment hub for central Arizona. It is primarily known as a hockey venue, serving the home of the NHL's Arizona Coyotes, although the arena has also housed indoor lacrosse and football teams throughout the years. When it is not hosting thrilling sporting events, Gila River Arena is a frequent site of concerts and family shows. Notable performers to have graced the stage here include Sam Smith, Drake and Pink. It can accommodate as many as 19,000 patrons.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available on all levels of the arena. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of their event and may purchase adjacent companion seating, subject to availability. There is ample parking available during all Gila River Arena events with six surface lots on the premises for use. Parking facilities generally open 2.5 hours before an event's start time. Rates may vary depending on the event but passes may be purchased in advance to eliminate day-of hassle. Guests using taxis or other ride-share services will be directed to the designated drop-off/pick-up location outside the arena.
