Overview

For more than 25 years, Tropicana Field has been the place to catch exciting baseball action in the Tampa region. Tropicana Field serves as the home of the MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays and can accommodate nearly 43,000 patrons. Despite its location in the Sunshine State, Tropicana Field shields fans from the sun and heat with its dome, making it the only stadium in Major League Baseball to be a permanent indoor ballpark. While it is primarily known as a baseball venue, “The Trop” has also hosted concerts, college football, and soccer games.

Handicap Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible seating is abundant at Tropicana Field and available in several sections across the ballpark. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of their event and may purchase adjacent companion seating, subject to availability. Elevators are available to provide easy access to all levels of the field for guests with limited mobility. In addition, restrooms, parking facilities, entrance gates, concession areas and drinking fountains are all in compliance with ADA standards.

Rays fans can stock up on official gear at the onsite Team Store. Most food and merchandise vendors accept major credit cards, however ATMs are available onsite for guest convenience.

Parking/Transportation

Tropicana Field parking is abundant with plenty of general, handicapped and oversized vehicle spaces available. Parking rates may vary depending on the event but passes may be purchased in advance to eliminate day-of hassle. Guests using taxis or other ride-share services will be directed to the designated drop-off/pick-up location outside the park.
