Overview

For over 25 years, the Target Center has been the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Minneapolis region. It has been the home venue of various sports team over the years, but now exclusively serves as the home of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. While it is mostly a basketball haven, other top events have taken place there, including mixed martial arts bouts, professional hockey games, arena football and WWE matchups. In addition, the Target Center is a frequent host of concerts featuring best-selling artists. It can accommodate up to 20,000 patrons.

Elevators are available to provide access to all levels of the Target Center for guests with limited mobility. The Target Center boasts a wide variety of concession options, ranging from traditional fare to more specialized items. Guests can snack on hot dogs, ice cream, pizza, barbecue, and even Mexican and Asian cuisine. Beverage options are plentiful as well, including soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails. The arena recently underwent extensive renovation to include state-of-the-art upgrades, including new seating and flat-screen televisions. ATMs are also located throughout the arena for guest convenience.

Parking/Transportation

Getting to the Target Center is easy. Guests using public transportation can get easy access via the Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station on the Metro blue and green lines, as well as various bus routes. If you're driving in, parking is abundant, with over 25,000 spaces located in the immediate area surrounding the arena. Parking rates vary depending on the event, but passes may be purchased in advance to eliminate day-of hassle.
