Nationals Park Seating and Venue Information


Opened in 2008, Nationals Park is one of the newest ballparks in the MLB and serves as the exclusive home to the Washington Nationals. Locals and tourists alike flock to state-of-the-art stadium each year to catch a game, which offers a stunning backdrop of the Anacostia River and Washington, D.C. landmarks like the U.S. Capitol building and Washington Monument in the distance. While it is primarily known as a baseball venue, Nationals Park has also hosted hockey's outdoor Winter Classic and has welcomed best-selling musical artists to perform major concerts inside the park, including Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift. It can accommodate over 41,000 patrons.

Handicap Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible seating is available on all levels of the park. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of their event and may be able to purchase adjacent companion seats, subject to availability. There are elevators and escalators are available to provide access to all levels of the park for guests with limited mobility. Handicap ramps, restrooms, concession areas, and drinking fountains are all in compliance with ADA standards.

Club/Suite Ticket Packages

For guests who prefer to enjoy their event in luxury, Nationals Park has a variety of premium seating packages. Private suites are available at various sections of the ballpark, each of which gives guests incredible sight-lines and top-notch amenities. These deluxe spaces grant ticket holders catering and bar service, private restrooms, reserved parking, early entry privileges, plus indoor and outdoor seating. Suites can accommodate anywhere from 16 to 50 guests.


There are a number of delicious choices for fans to feast on during games. Traditional ballpark fare like nachos, hot dogs and pretzels are among the many concession options available at Nationals Park, as well as local favorites like Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. Nationals fans can stock up on official apparel and gear at the onsite Team Store and various merchandise stands. ATMs, free Wi-Fi networks and cell phone charging stations are also available within the park for guest convenience.


Getting to the park is easy. It is conveniently located one block from the Navy Yard Metro station on the Green Line, and a short walk from the Capitol South station on the Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines. Nationals Park is also easy accessible via number of local bus routes. Parking is available in two nearby garages and six lots. With street parking being rather limited, guests driving in are encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance to eliminate day-of hassle. There are also nearly 300 bicycle racks located outside the park for guests who prefer to pedal their way there.

A majority of the crowd will not have to navigate stairs to get to and from their seats, as the main concourse is located at street level with the field sitting 24 feet below.
