Overview
For over a century, the CIBC Theatre has been Chicago's premier venue for fine arts and stage productions. It originally showcased vaudeville performers, including the likes of Al Jolson and Harry Houdini, before becoming a haven for Broadway productions. Many Broadway smash hits have gotten their start at the CIBC Theatre before premiering in New York, including the Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots. Currently the theater houses a resident production of Hamilton, bringing the wildly popular and critically acclaimed show to the Windy City. It can accommodate as many as 1,800 patrons.

Handicap Accessibility
Accessible seating is found on all levels of the theater and at all ticket price ranges. Guests requiring these seats may also purchase up to three companion seats, subject to availability at the time of purchase. The theater is equipped with elevators to provide access to top levels of the building, though guests should be advised that they will need to navigate stairs to get to their seats in all levels but the orchestra.
Club/Suite Ticket Packages
Guests can enjoy their show in grand fashion with the CIBC Theatre's suite service package. This deluxe upgrade grants ticket holders access to a private area featuring catering and full bar service, a private restroom, coat check and more. The theater's suite service package may be used for one hour before show time and during intermission.
Amenities
The CIBC Theatre was recently renovated to feature an updated interior while still retaining its historic charm. It features comfortable cushioned seats throughout, all of which offer unobstructed views of the stage. Guests may snack on select foods and have a range of beverage options available at the theater's onsite concession and bar stand, as outside food and drinks are not permitted. Guests may be allowed to bring some refreshments to their seat, but are generally encouraged to finish their food and/or drink prior to taking their seat at the show's start or return from intermission.
Parking/Transportation
Show goers may park in the InterPark garage, located nearby at 17 East Adams Street. Parking rates may vary depending on the event but passes may be purchased in advance to eliminate day-of hassle.
