Overview
For over 15 years, Chesapeake Energy Arena has been a sports and entertainment hub for Oklahoma City. It is the exclusive home of the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder though other now-defunct local sports teams were housed in the arena, including arena football and ice hockey squads. A number of notable basketball events have taken place inside Chesapeake Energy Arena, from the NBA to NCAA tournaments, along with mixed martial arts, wrestling and even bull riding events. In addition, dozens of best-selling musical artists headline the arena for concert performances each year. It can accommodate over 18,000 patrons.

Handicap Accessibility
As indicated in the above seating chart, wheelchair accessible seating is widespread and available on all levels of the arena. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of their event and may purchase adjacent companion seating, subject to availability. Elevators and escalators can be found in various public areas of the arena to provide easy access to all levels for guests with limited mobility. In addition, restrooms, parking facilities, entrance gates, concession areas and drinking fountains are all in compliance with ADA standards.

Chesapeake Energy Arena is equipped with over 200 television monitors throughout all concourses displaying all events so fans don't miss a second of the action even when out of their seats. There are dozens of concession areas along with a sit-down restaurant serving up a variety of delicious bites and refreshing beverages during all events. Oklahoma City Thunder fans can stock up on official gear at the onsite Team Store, which is open regular hours during the week with adjusted hours during NBA games and other events. Most food and merchandise vendors accept major credit cards, however ATMs are available onsite for guest convenience.
Parking/Transportation
There are nearly 1,000 parking spaces in the direct vicinity of Chesapeake Energy Arena to accommodate for both handicapped and general parking. There is ample parking also available in downtown Oklahoma City and within a short walking distance from the arena. Parking rates may vary depending on the event. Guests using taxis or other ride-share services will be directed to the designated drop-off/pick-up location outside the arena.
