Overview

Since opening its doors in 2002, NRG Stadium has served as the official home of the NFL's Houston Texans as well as the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. A number of top-name musical acts have performed at the stadium, including Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce and Metallica. Primarily a football venue, NRG Stadium is also the site of the annual Texas Bowl for college football fans. It is equipped with a retractable roof, making it not only a versatile venue, but the first NFL facility with such a feature. With a capacity of up to 80,000, it is one of the most impressive stadiums in the world.

Handicap Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible tickets are available for disabled guests in all levels of the stadium. An adjacent companion seat is available for purchase with each accessible seat. Additional companion seating may be on hold until the day of the event or if the event is sold out, though venue staff will work to accommodate patrons' needs.

Club/Suite Ticket Packages

Suite ticket packages are available for rent during all NRG Stadium events. Guests will be able to enjoy their event in style with unforgettable views and deluxe amenities. There are two distinct packages: Luxury Suites and Party Suites. The former is located on the 200 and 400 levels of the stadium, and can accommodate between 12 and 28 guests, while the latter is designed to hold 45-150 guests on the 300 level. Both areas include open air viewing seats on a private balcony, catering service, private restrooms, flat screen televisions, reserved parking passes and access to restricted VIP lounges.

Amenities

A wide variety of food and drink vendors are found within the walls of NRG Stadium at each event. Houston Texans fans can stock up on official gear at the onsite Team Store, which is open regular hours during the week with adjusted hours during events. For guest convenience, cell phone charging stations can also be found within the stadium.

Parking/Transportation

There are nine public parking lots surrounding NRG Stadium combining for over 26,000 parking spaces available for use. One lot features electric vehicle charging stations for guest convenience, and multiple bike racks are located outside the stadium for those who prefer to pedal their way there. For football games and select non-football events, tailgating within parking lots is permitted. Open flames and use of charcoal and gas grills while tailgating are permitted as long as guests practice proper safety measures when in use.
