Overview

Since it opened its doors in 1991, Vivint Smart Home Arena has served as the exclusive home of the NBA's Utah Jazz and welcomed millions of guests. Throughout its history, however, the arena has also housed professional ice hockey and arena football teams. Its versatility as a venue has enabled the arena to host a wide variety of events, most notably the figure skating and short track speed skating competitions at the 2002 Winter Olympics. A number of best-selling musical artists have performed concerts here as well, including Billy Joel, Metallica, Rihanna and The Eagles to name a few. It can currently accommodate nearly 20,000 patrons.

Handicap Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible seating is available on all levels of the arena. Guests requiring these seats are guaranteed to have unobstructed views of their event and may purchase adjacent companion seating, subject to availability. Elevators and escalators are available to provide easy access to all levels for guests with limited mobility. In addition, restrooms, concession areas, entrance ramps and drinking fountains are all in compliance with ADA standards.

Club/Suite Ticket Packages

Premium seating packages are available for guests looking to enjoy their event in high-class style. These luxurious spaces come equipped with flat-screen televisions, open lounge areas, serving counters and refrigerator - all while offering some of the best views in the house. Suites can accommodate anywhere from 12 to 34 guests.

Amenities

The arena has undergone various renovation projects over the years to become the state-of-the-art venue it is today. Vivint Smart Home Arena is equipped with a new high definition scoreboard and over 500 flat-screen televisions throughout its concourses. There is a wide variety of concession options available during all events, ranging from pizza and hot dogs to popcorn and ice cream. Utah Jazz fans can load up on official merchandise at the onsite Team Store, which is open regular hours during the week with extended hours during home games. Bear's Backyard is a family-friendly playground within the arena to cater to the youngest guests. ATMs and free Wi-Fi connection are also available for guest convenience.

Parking/Transportation

Parking is abundant at the arena. There are dozens of local lots available for use, combining for over 10,000 parking spaces all within a short walking distance of the venue. Additionally, guests may park at any public space downtown and take public transportation to the arena, which is conveniently located near the Arena Station via TRAX rail system.
