For over 20 years, Amalie Arena has been the premier multi-purpose arena of the greater Tampa region. It is the exclusive home of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning, who hold nearly 50 games each year on the ice. While it is primarily known as a hockey venue, Amalie Arena has also held basketball tournaments, arena football games, family shows, and is a frequent site of concerts featuring best-selling artists. Bicycle racks are found within parking facilities for those who prefer to pedal their way there. Guests using taxis or other ride-share service will be directed to the designated drop-off/pick-up location outside the arena.
