Swedish House Mafia's History

Swedish House Mafia (SHM) was a Swedish electronic dance music (EDM) trio consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group formed in 2008 and quickly gained international recognition for their high-energy performances and chart-topping hits. The trio was known for their collaborations with other popular EDM artists, including Knife Party, Tinie Tempah, Pharrell Williams, and John Martin.

The group's first major hit was "Leave the World Behind," a collaboration with fellow Swedish DJ Laidback Luke. The song reached the top of the dance charts in 2009 and was followed by a string of successful tracks, including "One," "Miami 2 Ibiza," and "Save the World."

In 2011, SHM announced their One Last Tour, which would be their final tour together as a group. The tour consisted of a series of concerts and festival appearances across the world, including stops in North America, Europe, and Asia. The tour's final show was held at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, in March 2013.

One of the most memorable moments of the One Last Tour was the group's performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City in December 2011. The concert sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale and featured a spectacular light show and stage production. Fans who were unable to attend the sold-out show could still watch the live stream of the concert online.

SHM's final show at the Ultra Music Festival in 2013 was also a historic moment in music history. The group had reunited for the first time since their One Last Tour in 2012, and fans from around the world were eagerly anticipating the performance. The concert featured an incredible light show and pyrotechnics, and the group played some of their most iconic tracks, including "One," "Don't You Worry Child," and "Save the World." The concert was live-streamed to millions of fans around the world, cementing SHM's legacy as one of the most influential dance music groups of all time.

While SHM may have officially disbanded, their music and live performances continue to inspire a new generation of EDM fans. Tickets to their concerts and festival appearances are highly sought after, and fans who were fortunate enough to attend one of their shows will always remember the incredible energy and excitement they brought to the stage.

In conclusion, Swedish House Mafia is an iconic group that has left an indelible mark on the world of electronic dance music. With their high-energy performances, chart-topping hits, and unforgettable live shows, they will continue to influence and inspire new generations of music fans for years to come. Fans who are lucky enough to secure tickets to their concerts and festival appearances can expect to be treated to an unforgettable experience filled with incredible music, stunning visuals, and an electric atmosphere that can only be found in the world of EDM.
