Rob Zombie's History

Rob Zombie is an American musician, filmmaker, and screenwriter who rose to fame as the lead singer of the heavy metal band White Zombie in the 1990s. The band disbanded in 1998, and since then, Zombie has pursued a successful solo career as a musician and filmmaker.

Zombie was born on January 12, 1965, in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He grew up in a working-class family and developed an early interest in horror films and rock music. In 1985, he attended Parsons School of Design in New York City, where he met Sean Yseult, who would become the bassist for White Zombie.

White Zombie was formed in 1985 in New York City and consisted of Rob Zombie on vocals, Sean Yseult on bass, Tom Guay on guitar, and Ivan de Prume on drums. The band's music was a mix of heavy metal, punk rock, and industrial music, and it was heavily influenced by horror movies and comic books. The band released their debut album, Soul-Crusher, in 1987, which was followed by Make Them Die Slowly in 1989. Both albums received critical acclaim and helped establish the band's unique sound and style.

In 1992, White Zombie released their breakthrough album, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One, which was produced by Andy Wallace. The album featured the hit single "Thunder Kiss '65" and went on to sell over two million copies in the United States. The success of the album helped White Zombie become one of the most popular and influential heavy metal bands of the 1990s.

After the release of their fourth album, Astro-Creep: 2000 - Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head, White Zombie disbanded in 1998. Zombie then began a successful solo career, releasing his debut album Hellbilly Deluxe in 1998. The album was a commercial success, selling over three million copies in the United States, and featured the hit singles "Dragula" and "Living Dead Girl."

Zombie has released seven solo albums to date, with his most recent being The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy in 2021. He has also directed several successful horror films, including House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and the 2019 remake of Halloween. In addition, he has written several comic books and graphic novels, including The Nail and Spookshow International.

Zombie is known for his high-energy live performances, which often feature elaborate stage setups, pyrotechnics, and horror-themed visuals. Fans can expect to see Zombie perform his biggest hits as well as deep cuts from his extensive catalog of music. Zombie's live shows are an experience not to be missed, and tickets for his concerts often sell out quickly.

In conclusion, Rob Zombie is a multi-talented artist who has made a significant impact on the worlds of music and film. Fans of his music can expect a thrilling live show filled with all the energy and horror-themed visuals that they have come to love. Tickets for Rob Zombie concerts are highly sought-after, so fans are encouraged to purchase them as soon as they become available.
