Ozzy Osbourne is one of the most well-known figures in rock and heavy metal music. He launched his career in the late 1960s when he formed Black Sabbath. As the band’s lead vocalist, he quickly became the face of Black Sabbath as they pioneered a new wave of heavy metal music throughout the 1970s. He eventually ventured into a solo career and saw equal success, with all but one of his 11 albums charting within the Top 25 both in the U.S. and his native U.K.

He is not only a musical giant (among his accolades are a Grammy and induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), but a cultural icon as well – perhaps best associated for his family’s reality show and the success of his Ozzfest shows. After over 50 years in the industry, Ozzy is giving up touring and will embark on one final tour to sunset his unmatched career.
