They followed up with two more albums, The Link and From Mars to Sirius, which helped to further establish their reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting metal bands of their generation.

As their popularity grew, Gojira began to tour more extensively and play larger venues. They quickly became known for their intense and energetic live shows, which often featured elaborate stage setups and visuals to accompany their music. More About Gojira

Prog-influenced metal bands Mastodon and Gojira are teaming up for a co-headlining tour in 2023, with support from Lorna Shore, a symphonic blackened deathcore band. The tour will span from April 18th to September 2nd, with Mastodon and Gojira delivering a powerhouse live performance on "The Mega-Monsters Tour."

Gojira, formed in Bayonne, France in 1996, is known for weaving together threads of thrash, technical death metal, and progressive metal. The band's sound is unique and powerful, incorporating intense percussion, soaring vocals, and complex guitar work.

In October 2022, Gojira released a new track titled “Our Time is Now,” which has been well-received by fans and critics alike. The band's seventh studio album, “Fortitude,” was released on April 30, 2021, and debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. The album's release was delayed due to the pandemic shutdown and complications surrounding the mixing engineer.

Gojira has toured with several high-profile bands, including Children of Bodom, Machine Head, and Lamb of God. The band's album "Magma" was particularly poignant, as it was colored by the passing of the Duplantiers' mother during the recording process.

Fans of Mastodon and Gojira can look forward to an unforgettable live experience, with Lorna Shore opening for the co-headliners at the Concord Pavilion on April 20th. Tickets are available now, and fans can use a special code for 15% off the ticket price. Don't miss your chance to witness the awesome power of Mastodon and Gojira live on stage!
