Kid Rock Announces Fall Tour Dates

The good times keep on coming for Kid Rock. The country rocker announced his Red Blooded Rock ‘N Roll Redneck Extravaganza Tour, his second in less than a year.

The 15-date tour will kick off August 3 in Bangor, Maine and stretch through mid-October with a closing show in West Palm Beach, Florida. Other major cities on the itinerary include Chicago, Boston, Indianapolis, St. Louis and San Bernardino. CMA Award-winning artist Brantley Gilbert and comedic country singer Wheeler Walker, Jr. will serve as supporting acts on select dates.

Prior to the tour’s launch, Kid Rock will perform alongside Ted Nugent in Iowa’s Jones County Fair. He’s also committed to appear in Oregon’s Willamette Country Music Festival shortly after his newest trek commences. He’ll serve as a headliner to close out the four-day festival, which also features Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Cam, and Alabama.

Kid Rock left controversy out of his latest tour announcement after making headlines a few months back. The polarizing act teased a potential run for office last summer, posting across his social media that he’d be throwing his hat into a Michigan Senate race. In November, however, he admitted the campaign announcement was a hoax used as publicity stunt to coincide with his Sweet Southern Sugar album release and subsequent tour. He spent this past winter headlining nearly two-dozen arenas as part of his American Rock ‘N Roll Tour.

Shortly after announcing his upcoming trek, Kid Rock was celebrated in one of the weekend’s top events. The “All Summer Long” singer was officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s Celebrity Wing at Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday. He joins names like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Snoop Dogg as the latest inductee for making various appearances at WWE events throughout the years.
