Top Entertainment Events: February

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s also one of the most jam-packed. Tons of top events across the entertainment industry are now just days away, and we’ve got you covered with all of them. Check out all of February’s top entertainment events below.

Sports

  1. Super Bowl LII – Sunday, February 4

It’s not just the biggest sporting event of the month, but quite possibly the whole year. Tom Brady is in pursuit of his record sixth Super Bowl ring when the Patriots go up against the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis. The country entire will be watching with bated breath as history could unfold before their eyes. The Eagles are seeking revenge from their 2005 Super Bowl loss to the Pats, who are appearing in their record tenth Championship game—and eighth under the tandem of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Will we have another nail-biter on our hands? Is a lop-sided final score more likely? Grab your beer and wings and get ready.

2.  NCAA Basketball – Various dates

Just as football season comes to a close, basketball season is there to pick up where it left it off. The next month will be pivotal for college hoops as March Madness looms. There’s plenty of top-notch games on the docket for both men’s and women’s college squads, but we recommend the following. In women’s basketball, a February 12 meeting between No. 1 UConn and No. 4 Louisville is a must-see, along with Texas vs. Baylor a week later. On the men’s side, the jam-packed month includes a February 8 clash of in-state rivals Duke and UNC. Other top games include Purdue vs. Michigan State (Feb. 10), Cincinnati vs. Wichita State (Feb. 18) and Texas Tech vs. Kansas (Feb. 24).

The Grammy winners are joined by Kacey Musgraves and Midland for the tour, which extends into May. Cities on the agenda this month for the group include New York, Austin, Columbus and Toledo. The “Better Man” hitmakers have consistently been one of the most popular country acts on the road, and they’re keeping that streak going with the Breakers Tour. Browse full dates and tickets here.

  1. Kevin Hart

You may have just seen Kevin Hart on the big screen not too long ago in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Now you can see him in person. The actor/comic is in the midst of his Irresponsible Tour, which stretches through the summer. Hart will be on the road through the 11th before taking a month break, but fans who are able to see a show won’t be disappointed. The Irresponsible Tour is making stops in a handful of Midwest cities throughout February with plenty more on the horizon.

2. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

The annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo doesn’t kick off until the tail end of February. However, it’s got enough star-power to land it on our list of the month’s must-see events. The three-week long event begins February 27 with Garth Brooks headlining a show at NRG Stadium, with plenty more music superstars scheduled to follow in the coming weeks. Little Big Town follow the next night, with artists like Blake Shelton, Alessia Cara, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and more pegged to perform into March.
