Luke Bryan is extending his annual farm tour into 2019. The country singer revealed the string of dates for his latest installment of the tour, set for this fall.
Bryan will kick off the six-date agricultural trek September 26 in Marshall, Wisconsin with a visit to Statz Bros. Farm and later travel through Michigan, Ohio and Kansas before wrapping in Norman, Oklahoma on October 5. The 2019 Farm Tour marks ten years since its inception. It serves as a way to raise money and awareness of farming communities, with a portion of ticket proceeds going towards a college scholarships for students from farming families.
“The idea behind this tour is to bring full production concerts to small towns that would not see larger scale shows,” Bryan said of the tour’s unconventional concept. “Growing up in rural Georgia we had to drive to larger cities to see concerts. It is so exciting to watch each of these shows bring built like a small city in itself in the empty pasture land of these farms.”
Bryan’s 2019 Farm Tour dates coincide with the final weeks of his Sunset Repeat Tour, which runs now through the end of October. Joined by Cole Swindell and Jon Langston, the five-month tour will wrap with a stadium show at Detroit’s Ford Field October 25 after playing over two dozen amphitheaters.
His busy summer also includes a headlining performance at Nashville’s CMA Fest on June 9 and Chicago’s Country LakeShake on June 23. Most recently, the “Knockin’ Boots” singer wrapped up his second season as a judge on ABC’s American Idol.
