By popular demand, Justin Timberlake has added over three dozen dates to his Man of the Woods tour, Live Nation announced today.
Timberlake will perform at 16 venues across the U.K. and Europe this summer before launching a 31-date North American leg on September 19. The “Filthy” singer will headline arenas in cities like Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Boston on the trek, which extends into January 2019. Canadian stops on the tour include Toronto, Quebec City, Ottawa, Vancouver and Edmonton.
The announcement hardly comes as a surprise following the release of fourth album Man of the Woods and Timberlake’s Super Bowl halftime performance this past weekend. Both efforts received mixed reception, as critics felt the album’s woodsy theme was verging on hypocritical from a polished pop star. As a three-time halftime show performer, Timberlake turned heads with his immaculate dancing and high energy set. However, he drew criticism for appearing to allude to his infamous 2004 performance with Janet Jackson while singing “Rock Your Body,” the same hit the duo was performing when Jackson became the face of the world’s most notorious wardrobe malfunction.
The Man of the Woods tour begins March 13 in Toronto, with the first North American leg running through early June.
