World Series Ticket Prices Favor Boston Fans

It all comes down to this. After impressive regular seasons and playoff runs, the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers will face off in a thrilling race to become World Series champions. As the games get underway, it’s not too late to get a last-minute ticket into the ballpark. Here’s where current World Series ticket prices stand and how you can save on them.

In the midst of the pennant races, Ticket Club data indicated that a potential Red Sox-Brewers World Series was the more affordable match-up versus a Dodgers-Astros rematch from the 2017 Series. Although the Red Sox had some of the most in-demand tickets throughout their league-best 108-54 regular season, World Series ticket prices in Boston are more affordable than the Los Angeles market.

Preliminary sales data indicates that average World Series ticket prices across each team’s first three home games came out to $877 in Los Angeles, while Boston home games were over $100 less at $772. The base get-in prices for both teams vary by a few hundred depending on the coast, with some of the cheapest secondary market seats into tonight’s Game 1 at Fenway Park coming in under $400. By the time the series moves to LA for Friday’s Game 3, current get-in prices are just under $700 for the Dodger faithful.

No matter which market you belong to, savings run abound when using Ticket Club to get into the Series. Premier members, who reap the benefit of paying no extra fees, can save $50+ than if they were to buy the same exact seats on StubHub. See below.

The Red Sox are attempting to win their first ring since 2013 and the franchise’s ninth overall. Despite being playoff contenders for the past six consecutive seasons, Los Angeles has not won a title in 30 years. A win against Boston would be the Dodgers’ seventh overall World Series championship. The two have met only once in the World Series – over a century ago in 1916, which Boston won by a margin of 4-1.

No matter who comes away with the October glory, it’s bound to a World Series full of thrills. Don’t miss a second of the action. Find your tickets here.
