Justin Timberlake Postpones More ‘Man of the Woods’ Tour Dates

Justin Timberlake has postponed several shows on his Man of the Woods Tour as he recuperates from vocal injury.

The singer shared on Instagram that he is to refrain from singing for a month to heal bruised vocal cords. As a result, he would need to reschedule multiple tour dates.

“My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice,” Timberlake wrote. “I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly.” See his full statement below.

Justin Timberlake postpones shows

Timberlake was scheduled to perform eight shows during the remainder of 2018 with additional shows to come. The Man of the Woods Tour was slated to keep the showman on the road through January, though make-up dates for the postponed gigs will now keep him busy through April 2019.

The “Filthy” singer has been non-stop since he released his fifth studio album in February. He gave a show-stopping performance at the Super Bowl LII halftime show shortly after dropping the record. From there, he quickly embarked on the subsequent world tour. His busy touring schedule took a toll on his voice, resulting in bruised vocal cords.

Timberlake initially postponed a Madison Square Garden gig in October, but a quick recovery was not in the cards. He eventually postponed more shows last month. Beyond that, he took extreme measures to preserve his voice while promoting his book Hindsight. Timberlake engaged in a silent interview while paying a visit to pal Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, a vast difference from the duo’s typical hijinks.

Tickets for all postponed Man of the Woods shows will be honored at a make-up date. See all current tour dates below and find Justin TImberlake tickets here.
