Def Leppard and Journey are uniting once more for a massive North American tour, set to kick off later this spring.
The 80s rock giants announced their plans for an expansive co-headlining tour that will bring them to nearly 60 cities between May and October. They are set to visit every corner of the U.S. when the trek begins May 21 in Hartford, Conn. and concludes with a two-night stint in Los Angeles. Along the way, they’ll stop at historic venues like Fenway Park, Madison Square Garden, Wrigley Field and Busch Stadium.
Two Canadian gigs in Toronto and Vancouver are on the itinerary, as is a special July 4 festival appearance at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
Def Leppard and Journey previously teamed up for a joint tour in 2006, at the insistence of Joe Elliott. The Def Leppard frontman has been vocal on his desire to recruit only big name acts to join them on the road—a tactic that has paid off. In recent years, the glam rockers have teamed up with the likes of Bryan Adams, Cheap Trick, Kiss and more hitmakers for major tours. Journey has most recently joined forces with The Doobie Brothers for a co-headlining jaunt in 2016.
The exciting tour news follows the announcement that Def Leppard’s complete catalog is now available across streaming platforms for the first time ever.
