Bastille Announce North American Tour in Support of New LP

In conjunction with the surprise release of new single “Joy,” Bastille also revealed a new tour is in the cards. They will hit the road this fall following the release of their third album, Doom Days.

Bastille will kick off their 31-city North American tour September 16 in Philadelphia and remain on the road through October. They’ll make stops in top U.S. markets like Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville and New York, plus play Canadian gigs Toronto and Montreal before wrapping in Mexico City October 29.

The extensive trek comes in support of Doom Days, the band’s anticipated third album, which is due out June 14. The effort’s forthcoming release has been a longtime coming, as the group – comprised of frontman Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson and Chris Wood – released lead single “Quarter Past Midnight” nearly a year ago. They dropped the album’s title track last week and surprised fans with the release of third single “Joy” today. Listen to the bouncy new track below.

In addition to their new releases, Bastille continues to be a force on music charts thanks to their smash collaboration with Marshmello, “Happier.” The dance hit earned the indie-rockers a pair of Billboard Music Award nominations for Top Collaboration and Top Dance/Electronic Song.
