5 Tours Kicking Off in April 2024

April marks the beginning of a new month for music enthusiasts as iconic artists gear up for their 2024  tours. Whether you’re a fan of solo pop acts, country rock, hoping to see reunited bands, or be part of the crowd during a farewell tour, this month’s lineup offers a diverse array of performances to satisfy every taste. 

Here are five of Ticket Club’s top acts starting their tours this month: 

Bad Religion and Social Distortion

Bad Religion and Social Distortion are gearing up for their co-headlining tour across the U.S. Marking the 40th anniversary of the album’s release, Social Distortion is expected to perform their album, Mommy’s Little Monster, in its entirety. 

The tour is set to begin on April 11 in Chula Vista, CA, at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre. From there, the bands are scheduled to make stops in various cities such as Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA, New York, NY, and Boston, MA before their final performance on May 18 in Chicago, IL at the Salt Shed – Indoors. 

Sum 41

After 27 years as a band, Canadian pop-punkers Sum 41 are preparing for their final tour, “Tour of the Setting Sum.” The trek is in support of their newly released album, Heaven :x: Hell, released on March 29. 

The tour is expected to start on April 19 in Omaha, NE, at The Astro. From there, the band is scheduled to make stops in cities such as Boston, MA, New York, NY, Nashville, TN, Orlando, FL, Los Angeles, CA, and Denver, CO before their final performance in their home country on January 30, 2025 in Toronto, ON, at Scotiabank Arena. 

The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie

The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie are extending their co-headlining tour into 2024, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Give Up and Transatlanticism. The tour will feature full performances of both albums by each band. Additionally, Slow Pulp is set to accompany them as support for every stop.

The 2024 leg of the tour is expected to kick off on April 23 in Atlanta, GA at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre and run until May 15 where they will wrap up in Portland, OR at Moda Center. 

The two bands are also set to headline “Just Like Heaven” music festival, slated for Saturday, May 18 at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. 

Neil Young and Crazy Horse

Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse are set to bring their music across North America with their “Love Earth” tour – coinciding with the release of their new album, Fu##in’ Up, scheduled for release on April 26. 

The “Love Earth” tour is slated to kick off on April 24 in San Diego, CA at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre and end on May 23 in Chicago, IL at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. 

Young is also expected to perform at Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival, scheduled to take place September 19 to September 22 at Highland Festival Grounds in Louisville, KY. 

Justin Timberlake

Fresh off the heels of his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, Justin Timberlake is gearing up for his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour. The Grammy Award-winning artist is set to head out on his first tour in five years, kicking off on April 29 in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena. 

The “Cry Me a River” singer is also slated to make stops in Las Vegas, NC, San Diego, CA, Austin, TX, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Boston, MA, and Chicago, IL, before wrapping up on November 16 in Atlanta, GA at State Farm Arena.
