She & Him are ready to throw a Christmas party. The duo announced a brief, holiday tour dubbed A Very She & Him Christmas Party.
Their six-city jaunt will begin December 4 in Philadelphia and wrap ten days later with a two-night stint in Los Angeles. The pair – made up of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward – will also visit Washington DC, Brooklyn, New Haven and Oakland. A number of special guests will be joining the duo on the excursion, with comic/actor Patton Oswalt already confirmed for both LA gigs.
The tour will showcase classic hits Deschaenl and Ward have recorded for their two holiday LPs, including “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “Let It Snow,” and “Happy Holiday.” Their second holiday record, 2016’s Christmas Party, is also their most recent studio effort.
She & Him join plenty of other big-name artists sharing the spirit on upcoming holiday tours. Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring their smash album Christmas Eve and Other Stories to some 60 cities on their annual tour, while Pentatonix revealed their own trek earlier this week. LeAnn Rimes, Hanson and Martina McBride have also announced respective holiday shows. Perennial holiday performer Mariah Carey is not taking her All I Want For Christmas Is You show on the road in 2019, opting instead to make it part of her Las Vegas residency deal with Caesars Palace.
