Acclaimed musician Lindsey Stirling is returning to the road for another holiday tour. The violinist announced dates for her 2019 Warmer in the Winter Tour, which gets underway in November.
Stirling will launch the outing with a string of California shows, starting November 19 in Fresno. She’ll visit an additional 24 markets before wrapping up the festive trek in Fort Myers on December 23. The itinerary includes notable stops in Charlotte, Phoenix, Milwaukee, and Newark.
This marks the second edition of the Warmer in the Winter Tour. Stirling first launched the trek in 2017 to support her holiday album of the same. The record saw Stirling put her famous contemporary spin on traditional tracks like “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” “Silent Night” and “Carole of the Bells,” but also featured guest vocals from Sabrina Carpenter and Becky G on original songs.
While the 32-year-old is revisiting Warmer in the Winter for the holiday season, she is also celebrating the release of a new album. Her fifth LP Artemis dropped earlier this month and debuted atop the Billboard Dance, Classical and Indie charts. Elle King lent her voice to Stirling’s single “The Upside,” while Evanescence singer Amy Lee provided vocals on “Love Goes On and On.” The latter collaboration came about after Stirling joined Evanescence last year on their orchestra-backed Synthesis Tour.
Stirling is the latest musical act to plot a holiday tour. Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Pentatonix, and most recently, She & Him have also announced seasonal tours.
