Pentatonix Rolls Out Dates for 2018 Holiday Tour

Christmas has arrived early for Pentatonix fans! Shortly after wrapping their 39-date summer tour, the a cappella super-group have unveiled dates for their 2018 Christmas Is Here Tour, which is set to begin in November and stretch four weeks.

The tour will launch in Grand Prairie, Texas on November 25 and extend through December 22 after a total of 17 performances in nine cities. Pentatonix will headline multiple nights in major markets like Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Uncasville and Rosemont. They’ll close the trek with a four-night run at New York’s historic Beacon Theatre.

The outing comes in support of the group’s forthcoming holiday album Christmas Is Here, due out October 26. It marks their third full-length holiday album after striking gold within the genre. The quintet has been behind some of the most successful modern holiday releases as their previous releases, 2014’s That’s Christmas To Me and 2016’s A Pentatonix Christmas, both reached Platinum sales certification and earned the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. The upcoming record will feature more covers of beloved holiday tunes, including the group’s new single “Making Christmas” from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Pentatonix has been an unstoppable force in the music industry since winning a cappella singing competition The Singing Bee in 2011. After being launched into the spotlight, they’ve gone on to earn three Grammys, release six albums, rack up billions of views on Youtube and embark on headlining tours each year since 2012. The quintet is comprised of vocalists Kirstin Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee.
