Dan + Shay Announce Dates for First-Ever Arena Tour

Less than a year ago, Dan + Shay were merely a supporting act to fellow country artists. Now, they are ready for the big time. The duo have announced their first-ever arena tour, which is set to launch next spring.

Their ambitious outing, aptly named The (Arena) Tour, will get underway March 6 in Nashville. It will bring the pair to Louisville, Milwaukee, Dallas and Chicago, among other cities this spring. Dan + Shay will play 16 shows throughout March and April before taking a five-month hiatus. They’ll resume the tour in mid-September and perform for another six weeks before wrapping in Tacoma on October 31. A total of 37 dates make up the stacked, two-part itinerary.

The tour announcement comes just days after the release of their latest single “10,000 Hours,” a collaborative track featuring Justin Bieber off their upcoming fourth album. For Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, it’s just the latest in a string of momentous career achievements. The duo scored their biggest hits thus far with “Tequila” and “Speechless” off their 2018 self-titled LP. Both tracks topped US Country charts and even cracked the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, going multi-Platinum in the process. “Tequila” even earned Smyers and Mooney their first Grammy win earlier this year.

Prior to hitting the road, Dan + Shay have a busy few months ahead. They’re vying to take home their first CMA Award at the 53rd annual ceremony next month. They picked up nominations for Vocal Duo, Album, Single and Song of the Year, trailing only Maren Morris as the night’s most nominated artist. A few weeks later, they’ll take the stage at Madison Square Garden alongside Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers and more as part of the 2019 Jingle Ball tour lineup.
