Bon Iver to tour select U.S. cities

One year after releasing their third studio album 22, A Million, Bon Iver is finally delivering a proper tour for the effort.

The band announced a Southeast U.S. tour which is comprised of ten dates beginning October 29 in Nashville. It is unknown if additional shows are forthcoming in other parts of the country. The indie rockers are slated to make festival appearances before kicking off the headlining tour, including Santa Fe’s Noise for Now Festival and the Festival of Disruption in Los Angeles.

A string of European shows are also on the band’s docket, which were originally scheduled for earlier this year before being canceled for what the group cited as “personal reasons.”

The upcoming tour, though brief, will surely please fans after waiting five years to hear new music. 22, A Million has been hailed as a successful shift in style for Bon Iver, who won a Grammy in 2012 for their breakthrough album Bon Iver, Bon Iver.
