Alicia Keys has confirmed plans for her first headlining tour in seven years. ALICIA: The World Tour will bring the soulful songstress to dozens of cities this summer.
The global trek will kick off in June with a 20-date European leg. After a month overseas, Keys will launch the North American portion July 28 in Jacksonville. She will spend the following two months traveling cross-country and back before wrapping the tour in Miami September 22. Along the way, she’ll make stops in 28 cities, including New York, Washington, Detroit, Phoenix, Kansas City, San Francisco, and Canadian markets Toronto and Vancouver.
This marks Alicia Keys’ first proper tour since her wildly successful 2013 Set the World on Fire outing and comes in support of her forthcoming seventh album ALICIA, due out in March. She has previously released three singles off the LP, most recently being the uplifting anthem “Underdog.” Watch the newly-released music video below.
Although she has been absent from the road for some time, Keys has kept busy within the industry. She served as a coach on three seasons of The Voice and left an strong impression as the host of the Grammy Awards in 2019. The tour news comes just days before she returns to her hosting duties at the 2020 Grammys.
