5 Must-See Music Festivals in June 2024

June is officially here, and with it comes a variety of music festivals. From punk-rock bashes to country music gatherings, here are Ticket Club’s five must-see music festivals happening this month.

1. No Values Festival 

Punk-rock enthusiasts, mark your calendars: the inaugural No Values Festival is gearing up to deliver a day of excitement in California. Organized by Goldenvoice, the masterminds behind Coachella, this debut event is slated to take place on June 8 at the Pomona Fairplex. 

The lineup is set to feature Original Misfits, Iggy Pop, Social Distortion and Bad Religion, Turnstile, Sublime, Power Trip, and more. This festival offers punk rock fans a rare chance to see some of the genre’s greatest new and old acts on the same stage. 

2. Governors Ball Festival 

The Governors Ball Music Festival, which is known for its eclectic mix of genres and popular performers, is returning to Flushing, New York, from June 7 through 9. It will take place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. 

Scheduled to headline the 2024 event are The Killers, Post Malone, and SZA. Festival goers can also catch performances by pop star Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter, Rauw Alejandro,  Peso Pluma, 21 Savage, Doechii, Young Gravy, and Sexxy Red. 

Pop singer and actress Renee Rapp will also take the stage, along with country pop artist Jessie Murph and the indie rockers of Hippo Campus, Blondshell, Quarters of Change, and Beach Fossils. 

3. Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, TN, will host the iconic Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The four-day festival offers a blend of genres, featuring headliners EDM’s Pretty Lights,Post Malone, the rockers of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Fred Again…

Other notable acts include indie favorite Maggie Rogers, Cage the Elephant, Cigarettes After Sex, country star Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, pop stars Melanie Martinez and Carly Rae Jepsen, and DJ Diplo. Additional performers like Renee Rapp, Taking Back Sunday, Ashnikko, Brittany Howard, Milky Chance, Thundercat, and The Maine.

4. Country Summer Music Festival 

For country music fans, the Country Music Festival in Santa Rosa, California, at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds is a must-attend summer event. Running from June 14 to 16, the festival showcases some of the best talents in country music, both old and new. 

Old Dominion will headline Friday night, accompanied by Jo Dee Messina, Kameron Marlowe, Sam Barber, Seaforth, and Hannah Ellis. Saturday’s lineup features Brett Young, Little Big Town, and Maddie & Tae, while Sunday closes the festival with performances by Jordan Davis and Walker Hayes. This event offers an opportunity to see a mix of legendary artists and rising stars in the country music scene.

5. Four Chord Music Fest 

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Four Chord Music Fest is set to take place from June 22 to June 23 in Pittsburgh at a new location: Carrie Furnace. 

Headliners this year include A Day to Remember, The All-American Rejects, The Story So Far, and Something Corporate. Other performers include Senses Fail, State Champs, Four Year Strong, Microwave, Militarie Gun, Motion City Soundtrack, The Get Up Kids, and Relient K.

Four Chord Music Festival founder Rishi Bahl expressed his excitement for the upcoming festival, stating: 

“Ten years is a long time. Most things that you were into 10 years ago have not survived, so to reach the 10th anniversary of Four Chord Music Fest is something we are very proud of. We really tried to make this one the biggest and best one yet and are stoked to spend the weekend with all of you at our brand new, historical landmark of a location, The Carrie Furnace. Get out the sunscreen and bring the Advil, it is going to be a party.”
