Red Rocker Sammy Hagar has detailed his latest tour, a three-month jaunt across the US that kicks off this summer.
Hagar will be joined by special guests Whitesnake and Night Ranger on the outing, which gets underway July 9 in West Palm Beach. It will run through late September and bring Hagar to 30 major cities, including San Diego, Dallas, Raleigh, Boston and Chicago.
The former Montrose and Van Halen frontman will take the stage with his latest backing back The Circle, featuring Vic Johnson, Jason Bonham and Michael Anthony. Although the group has been together since 2014, they released their first studio album just last year. The LP, dubbed Space Between, became Hagar’s highest charting album of his career when it debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Fans can expect to hear the band’s original material on the upcoming tour, as well as Hagar’s vast catalog of solo and group hits. The Circle is also known to play Led Zeppelin covers in honor of Bonham’s late father John, the band’s original drummer.
