Jason Isbell, Father John Misty Team Up for Co-Headlining Tour

Folk rockers Jason Isbell and Father John Misty are joining forces for a brief co-headlining tour this summer. The two artists will visit 18 cities throughout the month of June, beginning in San Diego and wrapping in Tulsa.

The tour will also be making stops in Detroit, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia, with venues ranging from auditoriums to arenas. Rising talent Jade Bird and Erin Rae will open the show on select dates.

In addition to their joint tour dates, the soulful singer-songwriters have a handful of scheduled solo gigs coming up. Isbell, along with his band The 400 Unit, has springtime shows planned in Louisville and New Orleans. He’s also booked a show at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre and headlining slot at the Moon River Festival in September. Meanwhile, Father John Misty will have a heavy presence on Europe’s festival circuit as the summer wears on.

Both artists will continue to support their latest albums on the trek. For Father John Misty, that’s 2018’s acclaimed God’s Favorite Customer, while Isbell’s last release was 2017’s Grammy-winning The Nashville Sound.
