Trans-Siberian Orchestra Reveal Dates for 20th Anniversary Tour

A modern-age holiday tradition has even more reason to celebrate the season. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will embark on their 20th anniversary winter tour later this year, it was revealed today.

TSO will headline arenas in over 60 North American cities when their annual tour kicks off November 14 with performances in Green Bay and Council Bluffs. It will extend through the holiday season and conclude December 30 in Cleveland and Milwaukee. The massive tour has over 100 performances on the itinerary, with multiple shows scheduled in a majority of cities. Top markets who can expect a visit from the best-selling group this winter are Houston, Philadelphia, Denver, Tampa and Portland.

The progressive rock group have dazzled audiences for the past two decades with their “Ghosts of Christmas Eve” show, which is based on the 1999 TV movie featuring TSO’s music. It details a young runaway girl who takes refuge in an abandoned theater on Christmas Eve, who is entranced by various ghostly visions set to musical performances. The stunning spectacle, which features intricate laser light shows, has been widely-acclaimed by show-goers near and far.

This winter’s tour marks the second without founder Paul O’Neill, who died suddenly in 2017. Despite his absence, TSO remains a powerhouse group and continues to flex their muscles as one of the best-selling touring groups to date.

To commemorate the milestone tour, Trans-Siberian Orchestra will release a special anniversary edition of their 1998 LP, The Christmas Attic, on September 28. The album landed in the Top 10 on the U.S. pop chart upon its initial release and achieved Platinum sales certification.
