Reba McEntire to Return to the Road with 2020 Tour

She’s been red hot in Las Vegas for years, but now, Reba McEntire is ready to hit the road. The country superstar revealed she’s heading out on tour next spring, nearly a decade since her last major tour.

McEntire will launch the venture in Evansville, Indiana on March 20. She’ll headline arenas in a dozen cities before wrapping in Grand Rapids on May 9. The itinerary consists mostly of Midwestern markets like Toledo, Green Bay and St. Paul. However, McEntire also has gigs planned in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Biloxi. It is unknown if more dates will be added in the future.

“I’m so excited to get back out on the road in 2020 and visit some places I haven’t been to in a while,” McEntire wrote on Twitter. In fact, a few cities on the schedule have not seen the “Fancy” singer since her All the Women I Am Tour in 2011. In the almost ten years since, she has released four albums, most recently being this year’s Stronger Than the Truth.

The Grammy winner has kept a light road schedule in recent years, often performing stand-alone shows in select cities. Since 2015, she has been a staple of Las Vegas entertainment for her residency show with Brooks & Dunn. The two will perform the latest leg of their Caesars Palace residency next month, with eight shows on the agenda.

In the meantime, she will showcase her charisma as co-host of the 2019 CMA Awards alongside Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton on November 13. McEntire, a seven-time CMA Award winner, holds the record for most nominations for a female artist with 50 to her name.
