Radiohead Unveils U.S. Tour Dates

Radiohead is returning to the U.S. for brief, 16-date tour, set to begin later this summer.

The British rockers will kick off the tour July 7 in Chicago, and head to markets like Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. They will also make stops in New York, Montreal, Toronto, and Boston for multiple night stints before concluding the three-week trek August 1 with a pair of shows in Philadelphia.

Radiohead will continue to support their ninth studio album, 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool, on the tour. Since the album’s release, the band has remained a steady presence in the U.S. They embarked on national tours in both 2016 and 2017, secured a headlining gig at Coachella last year and celebrated the 20th anniversary of their multi-Platinum selling album OK Computer with a special re-release of the LP.

In addition to their work as a group, each of the band’s members have kept busy with side projects of their own in recent times. Drummer Philip Selway and guitarist Johnny Greenwood each contributed to the film industry, with Selway composing music for the historical Let Me Go and Greenwood providing the score to the Daniel Day Lewis-led Phantom Thread. Lead singer Thom Yorke unveiled new song “Why Can’t We Get Along,” which was featured in an advertisement for clothing giant Rag & Bone’s new line, earlier this month.
