Mariah Carey Announces ‘Caution’ World Tour

Mariah Carey is ready for a return to the road. The global singing sensation will embark on her Caution World Tour beginning in February, Live Nation announced today.

The tour will kick off with a 22-date North American leg, which gets underway in Dallas on February 27. From there, it will stretch into April, hitting major markets like Detroit, Atlanta, Boston, St. Louis and Milwaukee along the way. Carey will also headline New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall on the trek and perform a pair of Canadian shows in Toronto and Orillia, Ontario. There is no word yet on future tour dates overseas.

The tour comes in support of the singer’s 15th studio album Caution, due out November 16. Carey has already released three tracks off the record: teaser track “GTFO,” lead single “With You,” and newest release, “The Distance.”

Although it’s been four years since her last album release, Mariah Carey has remained a very relevant performer. In 2016, she embarked on her worldwide Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour. The following year, she teamed up with Lionel Richie for their co-headlining All the Hits Tour which kept her busy right up until the holidays when she continued her popular All I Want for Christmas Is You residency show at New York’s Beacon Theatre.

Earlier this year, the five-time Grammy winner launched her second Las Vegas residency show, The Butterfly Returns. She has a number of performances scheduled at Caesars Palace Colosseum as part of the residency this winter before diving into the Caution Tour.
