Luke Combs Announces North American Tour in Support of New LP

Ahead of the release of his sophomore album What You See Is What You Get, Luke Combs announced his subsequent tour. The country star revealed ten tour dates to come in 2020, with more likely to be announced.

He’ll kick off the What You See Is What You Get Tour February 7 in Columbia, Missouri. Combs will play four additional shows in February before taking a hiatus. He’ll resume his schedule April 18 in Albuquerque and wrap the trek a week later in Houston. Cities listed on the brief itinerary include Lexington, Corpus Christi and Grand Rapids. Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker are pegged as supporting acts.

Combs has plenty to look forward to in the coming months. He will headline nearly 30 arenas around the country on his fall Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour, and also appear at Willie Nelson’s Farm Aid and Outlaw Music Festival this weekend. On November 8, Combs will release his anticipated second LP, which features lead singles “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” “Even Though I’m Leaving,” and his Brooks & Dunn collaboration “1, 2 Many.”

On top of that, Combs has notched several accolades from the country genre as a whole. He will be honroed alongside Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown and Dan + Shay as part of the 2019 CMT Artists of the Year. The North Carolina native is also a three-time nominee at this year’s CMA Awards. Combs nabbed nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for his hit “Beautiful Crazy” and Musical Event of the Year for another Brooks & Dunn collaboration, “Brand New Man.”
