Kenny Chesney is about to make history once again.
In May, Chesney will become the first country artist to headline a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. The residency kicks off on May 22, with Chesney scheduled for a 12-date run.
The “When the Sun Goes Down” singer commented on his commitment to creating an unforgettable experience for his fanbase, known as No Shoes Nation, sharing, “I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music.”
“Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives,” Chesney shared. “When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.”
The Sphere, with its 17,600-seat capacity, offers a unique, immersive experience that aligns with Chesney’s vision. The venue’s 4D technology and state-of-the-art sound system elevate the concert experience, fully immersing the audience in the music, visuals, and atmosphere.
Chesney was drawn to the venue’s potential to provide a groundbreaking experience for his fans.
“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in,” Chesney said. “Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”
Tickets for Chesney’s residency are slated to go on sale on January 31. Fans of the country singer can purchase their tickets through Ticket Club, where members never pay hidden service fees.
