Hozier is ready for his return to music with a new album and tour on the way next spring. The singer-songwriter will embark on the Wasteland, Baby! headlining tour in support of his upcoming album of the same name, promoter Live Nation announced earlier this week.
The trek will kick off March 10 in Buffalo and make its way cross-country before wrapping in Spokane on April 14. A total of 25 cities make up the itinerary, including major markets like Charlotte, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Houston, Denver, Baltimore and Salt Lake City.
While there is no official release date yet for his sophomore album Wasteland, Baby!, Hozier fans can expect new music to coincide with the tour. The singer dropped the record’s lead single “Movement” last month amid touring in support of his fourth EP Nina Cried Power.
Hozier made a splash in the music industry five years ago with the release of his EP Take Me to Church. The title track launched the Irish musician into the mainstream by going multi-Platinum and scoring a Grammy nomination. He released his eponymous debut LP the following year, which shot to to the top of the Irish charts and peaked at No. 2 in the U.S.
