Cardi B Lands First Las Vegas Residency

Cardi B is making major money moves in Las Vegas. The rapper has scored her first-ever residency show at the Palms Casino Resort, the venue announced today.

Cardi B will take over KAOS, the new amphitheater-style complex on the Palms premises, which will also serve as a nightclub venue. No specific performance dates have been revealed yet, though the club is set for an April opening. Cardi B is expected to be the headlining act to commemorate the grand opening.

Built as part of a multi-million dollar renovation project at the Palms Resort, KAOS boasts stunning technological advancements, including a 360-degree rotating DJ booth. In addition to Cardi B, artists like Skrillex, G-Eazy, Above and Beyond and Kaskade have also booked upcoming residencies at the brand new space.

Next month, she’ll join Bruno Mars in one of Atlanta’s biggest kick-off events to Super Bowl LIII and shortly after, is expected to perform at the Grammys, where she is also up for five awards.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker has made headlines for a wide-ranging slew of topics recently. Among them are her surprise split from husband Offset and various social media rants about the current government shutdown, plus the news that she will drop her sophomore album sometime in 2019. In the meantime, it looks like she’ll remain a force in everything she does – including her much-anticipated residency.
