Get your roses ready, because The Bachelor is coming to a city near you. The long-running reality hit will visit cities across the U.S. as part of a new experience dubbed The Bachelor Live On Stage, which will launch in early 2020.
“I have some exciting news for you, Bachelor Nation,” series host Chris Harrison said during The Bachelorette‘s Men Tell All special. “We’re about to launch an exciting new way to experience The Bachelor. It’s called Bachelor Live on Stage…and it’s coming to a city near you. If you’ve every wondered what it’s like to be on The Bachelor, then this is your chance.”
Season 20 Bachelor Ben Higgins will serve as the host of the touring show, though other past contestants may share hosting duties in select cities, according to the Bachelor Live On Stage website. The live show will run exactly like the ABC series and introduce a local bachelor to willing audience members. They will embark on both group dates and one-on-one dates throughout the course of one night before handing out their final rose, all with the help of the audience.
The journey begins February 13 in Mesa, Arizona and will wrap May 17 in Austin. Bachelor fans will have plenty of chances to catch the show, as there are a staggering 63 cities on the itinerary. The tour will make stops in Salt Lake City, Boston, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Nashville and other top markets throughout the three-month span.
The Bachelor now joins several popular television programs to hit the road on tour. Competition shows like So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol and Dancing With the Stars have all embarked on live tours, while The Price is Right has also been adapted into a live stage show.
