Anyma, a member of Afterlife, is set to make history as the first electronic music act to headline the Sphere in Las Vegas.
Originally announced as a one-night-only performance on New Year’s Eve, overwhelming demand prompted the Sphere to add two additional dates just two days after the initial announcement.
From December 29 to 31, Matteo Milleri, known as Anyma, will present his immersive “Genesys” audio/visual show at this state-of-the-art venue. This event marks both the Sphere’s inaugural New Year’s Eve performance and Anyma’s debut in Las Vegas.
Anyma is scheduled to deliver a solo set, with special guests yet to be announced are slated to join him on stage. This year, he has already performed at festivals such as Coachella, playing at the Sahara Tent and Quasar Stage. Special guests yet to be announced are slated to join him on stage.
Anyma’s sets often feature a robotic body that appears to interact with the screens, creating a narrative of escape and liberation. This visual experience is expected to reach new heights at the Sphere, which boasts the world’s highest-resolution LED display and an advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT.
In addition to the upcoming New Year’s Eve performance, Afterlife has achieved significant milestones worldwide. Last year, they hosted two nights at Parque Bicentenario, grossing over $7 million. This year, a single night in Mexico City saw 65,000 tickets sold, grossing over $9 million and featuring the largest screen ever built in Mexico.
Tale Of Us, the duo behind Afterlife, has also had a prolific year, performing in Tulum, Miami, Paris, Barcelona, Ibiza, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Medellin, and Lima. Their performance at Miami Marine Stadium during Miami Music Week sold 32,000 tickets over two nights.
